·       Tilting At Windmills, a play by Bob Dunn – Saturday, December 7 at 7pm, UUFD. Stage reading of a two-person play focused on the relationship that forms between a dying community activist (Sal) and a young reporter (Diana) who comes to interview him for a prominent magazine. The play is about how this brief relationship is a “gift” to each of the two, but in different ways. End-of-life issues are featured prominently. While addressing serious issues, there is plenty of humor. The title is from Don Quixote and its significance is revealed as the play unfolds. Rev. Kent Mayfield will read the part of Sal, Susanne Holtz (hospice music therapist) will read the part of Diana. The play runs a little over an hour. Bob will facilitate some discussion afterwards, followed by refreshments & socializing.
