Connection
In addition to Sunday services, we offer a variety of programs and events for members and friends of the fellowship. See the calendar and the most recent newsletter for details.
Examples of events throughout the year:
- Book Discussions
- Easy Readers: Article discussion group
- Morning Roots: A time to become centered and grounded. Participants gather at 9am and spend 25 minutes in silence, engaging in an individual mindful activity of their choice (e.g. meditating, reading, writing, drawing, tarot, etc.), followed by 25 minutes of mindful discussion. Bring your preferred activity/supplies. Hosted monthly-ish.
- Solstice Celebrations: Typically an informal gathering is held at a member’s house for the summer and winter solstices. Join us for friendship, food, campfire, and fireworks.
- Christmas Eve Dinner: Every Christmas Eve after service, we gather at the House of China for fellowship – a long-time UUFD tradition!
